This is a drawing that I've been working on for the last week. My sister in law lost her mother to a tragic accident this last summer. This is going to be a special surprise gift for her. I'm happy with the outcome. It's my first drawing of an elderly person so I was really nervous about drawing the wrinkles.
It took me several weeks off and on. I used graphite pencils HB-2B, soft pastels, charcoal, tortillons and a kneaded eraser. The size is 9x12 I uploaded the WIPs here [link] in case you're interested Copyright Notice © © Bluemystic 2008-2009 All Rights Reserved All of the artwork contained in my gallery may NOT be reproduced, copied, edited, published, transmitted or uploaded in any way without my written permission. For the soul there is neither birth nor death. Nor, having once been, does he ever cease to exist. He is unborn , eternal, ever existing, undying and primeval. He is not slain when the body is slain. --Bhagavad Gita
Nice attention from you for your sister in law
